I'm Marie Demres, married, with 3 grown sons. I like to bike, hike, read, write and socialize.
I'm a certified life coach and brainspotter, working with people with trauma, depression and anxiety.  Yoga instruction on YouTube and in person is also one of my interests and I have an RYT200 certification. I am a lifetime resident of  the Rochester area. I opened Fordree Law Firm, P.C. in 2005, after practicing law since 1993. I have a passion for making people’s lives more manageable and helping them to leave the legacy they desire. I enjoy assisting clients to put their long-term desires into writing to care for themselves and their loved ones, families, and favorite charities. I have a calming presence that helps clients to relax when facing legal matters.

I am certified and trained in Probate and Estate Planning, Mediation and Collaborative Practice. Collaborative practice is a holistic approach to resolving disputes designed to advance the interests of clients and parties in areas of law and beyond for a more positive future. It is private and is helpful in keeping relationships positive in divorce.

I'm trained in Non-Violent Communication, Mental Health First Aid, Chaplaincy, and Shiatsu. I serve on my church's board of trustees.
